Every employee is carefully screened using the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) strict processes. Every member of our care staff team has met the registration requirements of the Scottish Social Service Council, the regulatory body for all people who work in the Social Services.
Every member of our staff team is fully aware of their important role in providing a loving and enthusiastic relationship with our babies and children. We operate a ‘key worker’ system where particular staff members hold responsibility for certain babies or children’s individual needs and progress. Having your own key worker means that you will always be able to access important, up to date, information about your child’s daily experience and achievements.
Our staff are highly valued and as such particular attention will be given to ensuring that their professional skills remain well developed so that they can continue to use their strong abilities for the maximum benefit of our babies and children. We monitor our staff regularly and provide positive, constructive feedback for their benefit.
Our staff/child ratios are such that each baby and child can enjoy a high degree of personal attention from consistent and caring staff members. We employ staff from a wide range of ages, qualifications, and experience but always ensure that each staff member has the relevant qualifications for his / her post and responsibilities, is working towards improving their qualifications while they are with us and is able to retain their ability to ensure that worthwhile learning activities are being maintained throughout each day.
